One tick box controls the emails you can choose about. Everything else we send is tied to something you have done or booked, and keeps coming.
Where the setting is
- Open Edit Profile from your dashboard.
- Scroll to the Notifications tick box near the bottom.
- Tick it to receive updates, untick it to stop them.
- Choose Update Details to save.
The note under the box describes what it covers: test notifications, useful articles, discounts and site updates.
What stops
- Test and platform news.
- Articles, study guides and tips.
- Offers and announcements.
What keeps coming
These are part of running your account and cannot be switched off:
- Verification and password codes.
- Enrolment and booking confirmations, invoices and receipts.
- Test results and marking notifications.
- Class and session reminders, and homework reminders.
- Payment problems and spot offers, which need an answer from you.
Other things you can turn off
- Marketing follow-ups after a trial class have their own unsubscribe link at the foot of the email, which takes one click.
- Text messages about offers can be stopped by asking us. Texts about verification and about a spot we are holding for you are not marketing and still arrive.
Still getting too much
If something keeps arriving after you have unticked the box, tell us through Contact us with the subject line of the email in question. It is usually an email that belongs to a booking rather than to the newsletter, and we will tell you which.
