The Selective Mastery Holiday Class is a three session intensive run during the school holidays for Year 5 and Year 6 students. Each session is a full day at our Parramatta centre, covering all four Selective test sections. The sessions are not on consecutive days: there is usually a day or two between them, so students can rework their booklet and practise the skills they lost on LearningHub and WritingHub before the next session. What a day looks like
- Arrival: students log in and settle in the testing lab.
- Morning, about three hours: timed tests across Reading, Mathematical Reasoning, Thinking Skills and Writing, under exam conditions. The questions are written fresh for each session.
- Pizza lunch: lunch is provided. While the students eat, tutors read the analytics and print a personalised booklet for each of them covering all four sections.
- Afternoon, about three hours: an interactive whiteboard review of all four sections, taught from each student's own booklet, so the teaching is aimed at the marks they actually lost that morning.
- Wrap up: students take their booklets home, and parents get feedback and notes on the dashboard.

- This course is in person at Parramatta only.
- It is a one off course rather than a term enrolment, so the multi-term discount does not apply.
- Places are strictly limited for each intake, and the class size is shown on the schedule below.
- It goes deeper than a short crash course: every day is a full timed set followed by a review of that student's own answers.
