Joining a waitlist

1 min read Updated Oct. 2026
Where to find it
/enrol/ > Choose your course > Join Waitlist Open it

When a class has no seats left, you can join its waitlist and we contact you automatically if one frees up. A class with no seat limit never has a waitlist, because it can never be full.

Joining

Open /enrol/ and pick the class at Choose your course. A Class Full banner appears with a Join Waitlist button. You need to be signed in with a verified mobile number, because offers go out by SMS as well as email. Once you join you are given a queue position, where Position 1 is next in line, and a confirmation email lands with a link that removes you from the queue whenever you like.

When a spot opens

  1. The family at Position 1 gets an email and an SMS with a secure link.
  2. The link signs you in and opens an offer page showing the class, the day, the time, the term and how long the offer has left to run.
  3. Accept & Continue to Payment takes you into the enrolment wizard with that class and term already chosen, so you only have to review and pay.
  4. Decline Offer, or letting the offer run out, passes it straight to the next family in the queue.

An offer that has run out shows This offer has expired. A seat is only really yours once payment is complete, so finish checkout rather than leaving it part way.

Where your entry can sit

  • Waiting: in the queue.
  • Offered: a spot is yours to take, for a limited time.
  • Accepted: you took it and paid.
  • Expired: the offer ran out.
  • Cancelled: you removed yourself, or you got in another way.

Using the cancellation link shows Removed from waitlist. You can rejoin later if you change your mind.
