Withdrawing from a class

1 min read Updated Oct. 2026
Where to find it
Dashboard > Enrolments Open it

Withdrawals are handled by our team. There is no withdraw button in the dashboard, because we want to talk through the options with you first.

How to ask

Use the contact form or email us, and tell us the student's name, the class, the day and time, and the term you want to withdraw from. We confirm in writing once it is done.

What changes

  • The enrolment moves to Withdrawn and drops off Enrolments in the dashboard.
  • The class stops appearing in Your Class Schedule, and an online class link stops working for that student.
  • The spot goes back into the pool and may be offered to the next family on the waitlist.
  • Any test bundle access included with the class ends with the terms you were enrolled in.
  • Homework, marked work and results already in the account stay where they are.

What happens to the balance

The Refund and Cancellation Policy you agreed to at enrolment is the rule, and it is worth reading in full. In short:

  • There is a short cooling-off window at the very start of a term, with two conditions that both have to hold. Inside it you get a pro rata refund for the sessions not yet used, though the admin and materials fee is not refunded once the term has begun.
  • After that window there is no refund for the term already under way, whatever the reason.
  • For a future term you pre-booked and have not started, a cancellation fee is kept and the rest of that term is refunded.
  • If we cancel a whole term ourselves, you are refunded in full and no cancellation fee applies.
  • Fees pay for the reserved spot rather than attendance, so a missed session is not refunded. We may offer a catch-up or the materials as a goodwill gesture.

Refunds go back to the method you paid with. The full wording, the timings and how a refund is issued are in Refund policy.
