Open Edit Profile from the pill at the bottom of your dashboard, or by tapping your avatar in the header on any dashboard screen. Everything on the page is saved with the Update Details button at the bottom.
What you can change
- First Name and Last Name of the student. Letters, spaces, hyphens and apostrophes only.
- Year Group, chosen from the list.
- Postcode, four digits.
- Student Birthday, chosen as day, month and year.
- Notifications, the tick box that controls the emails you can opt out of.
The name, birthday and postcode here are the same details the Student Identity login checks, so if you correct them, use the corrected version next time you sign in that way.
Avatar and colour
Choose Change Avatar to open the picker. A set of starter animals is free to everyone, and the rest are unlocked with XP you have earned. Once an animal is unlocked it is yours to keep and you can switch between it and any other whenever you like. Under the picker is a row of colour swatches for the circle behind your avatar.
Your Background
Further down the page, Your Background sets the backdrop of your dashboard. Some are free and others unlock with XP, the same way avatars do.
What is not on this page
- Your password. Use Change Password on the dashboard instead.
- Your email address, which is also your username. Ask us through Contact us if it needs to change.
- Parent and guardian details, including the mobile, the address and the emergency contact. Those are held on the parent record and are asked for when you enrol or book a trial.
