Verifying your mobile and email

Where to find it
/register/ > Account

Both codes are asked for on the Account step of the sign-up form, before the account exists. One is a 6-digit code sent by text to the parent mobile, the other is a 4-digit code sent to the parent email address. You cannot move on until both have been accepted.

The mobile code

Type the parent mobile and choose Send verification code. The form accepts an Australian mobile written as 04xx xxx xxx, and a New Zealand mobile written with its country code, for example +64 2x xxx xxxx. Landlines and numbers from other countries cannot receive it. Enter the six digits and choose Verify code. Once the number is verified you see Mobile number verified.

The same mobile can be used for more than one child, so a parent signing a second child up does not need a second number.

The email code

Your email address is copied into the verification box automatically once you have typed it above. Choose Send verification code, then enter the four digits and choose Verify code. You then see Email address verified.

If a code does not arrive

  • Use the Didn't receive a code? Resend code link that appears under the boxes.
  • Check your spam or junk folder for the email, and check that the address on the form has no typo in it.
  • Check the mobile number, including the leading zero, and that the phone has signal.
  • Too many wrong attempts pauses verification for a while. Wait, then send a fresh code rather than guessing.
  • Still nothing? Ask us through Contact us and we will sort it out.

Why both

The email address is where results, receipts, class reminders and password resets go, and it is half of your login. The mobile is how the team reaches a parent about a class, a session change or a spot that has come free. Because both are checked at sign-up, there is no verification prompt waiting on your dashboard afterwards.

Older accounts

A few accounts created before this step existed were never verified. If your dashboard opens with no menu across the top, that is the symptom, and unverified accounts are also removed in a routine cleanup. Contact us and we will verify the account for you.
