Signing in lands you on your dashboard. Students who are enrolled in an in-person class land on their Classroom page instead, and reach everything below from the same menu.
The pills at the top right
- Forum opens the discussion boards and shows a red dot when something is waiting for you.
- XP opens a panel with your XP balance, the reward shop and a list of ways to earn more.
- Support opens our contact page in a new tab.
- Tutorial replays the guided walk-through of the screen you are on.
- Logout signs you out on that device.
Your header
Under the pills sit the Test Academy logo, today's date and your avatar. Tapping the avatar opens Edit Profile. If your account belongs to a tutoring centre that uses the platform, its name and location appear here too.
The menu
The row of rounded pills is how you move around. Which ones you see depends on the account, so a shorter row is normal and not a fault.
- Home, Practice, Type and Leaderboard are there for everyone.
- Learn and Testy appear for the students those tools are built for.
- Performance appears on the OC and Selective tracks, and for every class student, where it holds their term test results.
- Classwork, Homework and Enrolments appear once a child is in a class.
- 1-on-1 Tutoring appears for every year level. ACST appears for the year levels it is offered to.
The middle of the page
- Announcements appear as small cards labelled Announcement, with a Read more link and a cross to dismiss them.
- Testy's card is the first block, with a line about what to do next, buttons for the thing it suggests and an Ask Testy button.
- Your plan is the main tile. It lists what to do next, each item with a Go link and a Skip button. List and Week switch the view, How much per week sets Light, Moderate or Intense, and Add to plan puts a task of your own on it.
The bottom of the page
Two buttons sit under the plan: Edit Profile and Change Password.
