Giving session feedback

1 min read Updated Oct. 2026
Where to find it
Admin dashboard > Private Tutoring > My sessions > Past > Feedback due

Once a session has finished, its Feedback page is where the tutor writes it up. Under Past in My sessions, a session without feedback shows Feedback due. A family sees only what goes in the box written for them, never your rough notes.

Writing it up

Jot a rough note, then use Tidy with AI to turn it into a parent-ready version, which stays editable before you send. Each focus area from the booking gets an outcome: covered, needs work or mastered. You can add skills beyond the ones booked.

Worksheet marks

Where a worksheet was used, tick Mark this worksheet to record its marks and award the student's points the first time it is saved. Left unticked, that sheet is skipped rather than recorded as zero.

Setting follow-up work

You can set a few tasks, each with a due date: a LearningHub skill, a test, a worksheet or a free-text task. They appear on the student's Work tab and study plan once you submit.

If the student did not attend

Tick The student did not attend this session to send the family the no-show version of the email. Worksheet marks are skipped for that session whatever else is filled in.
