A confirmed session can be moved to another open time with the same tutor, as long as it is not too close to its start. Booked sessions cannot be cancelled or refunded, so moving is the one change a family can make.
Moving a session
- Open the My sessions tab and press Reschedule on the session.
- A sheet titled Move this session opens with the current time at the top.
- Move between weeks with the arrows, tap a day, then tap a time.
- Press the button, which now reads Move to and the new time.
The session keeps its length, its place (in person or online), its price and its focus, and you get an email with the new time.
The cutoff
There is a cutoff before each session after which it can no longer be moved. The number of hours is in the booking terms on the Pay step, in the confirmation email and on the Terms page. Once a session is inside it, the Reschedule button is no longer shown. Contact the team through the contact page and they can look at it.
When a session needs a new time
If the team has to change a session, for example when a tutor is unavailable, it shows Needs a new time and you are emailed a link. The link opens the same sheet and can offer another tutor.
What the team can do
Changing the tutor, moving a session inside the cutoff and refunds are decisions for the team, not something a family can do on the website.
