An online session has two parts open together: a video call with the tutor, and a live page the tutor fills with the material for that session. Both open from the Next up card at the top of the My sessions tab.
Joining
The card shows Opens 15 minutes before until then. From 15 minutes before the start it shows Join session for the video call and Open live session for the live page. Add to calendar on the same card puts the session in a phone or computer calendar.
The live page
During the session the tutor puts up worksheet pages, questions to answer on screen and a shared whiteboard that both can write on. Everything shown is saved. See Your session record.
Getting ready
A quiet spot with a working microphone is enough. A second screen or a tablet makes it easier to see the call and the live page together, but one device works: switch between them as needed.
